Description
This music-based puzzle game was made for the Ludum Dare 47 Game Jam with the theme "Stuck in a Loop". Careful with the sound though, as it is a sound based game it could be quite loud. Please take care to adjust your volume when playing.
Gameplay
Unlock doors by activating buttons in a certain order, building the background music loop as you go. The goal is to reach the end of the loop and construct the soundtrack, by pressing the buttons in the right order to create it.
The concept we are going for is that the loop will have notes that build up over time, and every level is made up of several rooms. Every iteration of the loop we are planning to add an additional soundtrack in the future so rooms can get more complex as they keep looping back to the original!
Hope you enjoy the game!

I like the game's concept and (literal) loop. My only negative feedback is that for me the character moves too slowly. I found myself pressing shift a lot hoping it would cause the character to sprint.
I purposely left it out so you couldn't rush and were able to enjoy the changing music. I could add it back in on a future version, but it was decided on from a game design perspective.
I love how chill it feels
Sometimes all you need is a soundtrack building up in the background to feel joy
love the music progression as you're clearing the rooms. I might be a noob, but it took me a second before i realized i had to press space on the floor switches to trigger them
Adding a control scheme to the main menu might not be a bad idea now that you mention it. I'll drop one in the description for now since the jam entry period has ended.
this game is awesome I really liked the way the soundtrack builds as you move through the game and the artstyle was pretty cool too
